Time for a brief blog ... In John 14:12 our Lord said we could do the works that He does, and even greater works when He goes to "The Father". So ... Can we expect to be able to do the same things that the apostles did? I would say yes but I wouldn't expect those kinds of miracles to be common place.  However, there are places around the world where major miracles ARE happening, even as I write these words.  Thanks to the "modern miracle" of the internet we can see these things happening right now.  I recently viewed (via Skype) miracles of healing in Pakistan and places where people are discovering for the first time the historical and current reality of the power of the living Christ. So ... Have I done anything comparable to what any of the apostles did?  Yes, I have, and so have many others here in the "western world".  For example, many have suffered persecution for speaking the truth although it's nothing like, say the apostle Paul ...
